Amazon Opens Fourth Maryland Fulfillment Center

SPARROWS POINT, Md. (WJZ) -- Online retail giant Amazon has opened its fourth fulfillment center in Maryland.

The more than one-million-square-foot facility is at Tradepoint Atlantic and is the second fulfillment center in Sparrows Point.

Amazon welcomed hundreds of new employees to the site to pick, pack and ship larger items to people all over the Baltimore area.
