Alaa Abdelnaby On The Sweet Sixteen Of The NCAA Tournament
Alaa Abdelnaby is a former Duke Blue Devil who is now the CBS Sports Network's college basketball analyst.
Alaa joined Ed and Steve to talk about the remaining sixteen teams and who he thinks will advance.
Alaa started off by talking about who is his favorite to win the Tournament saying "I would take Kentucky, people accuse me of being a homer and I am a basketball homer not a Duke homer...as a Duke fan I wish the Blue Devils had a better chance but Kentucky is deep and talented." As for the game against West Virginia and if the Mountaineers press can stop Kentucky Alaa said "it puts a premium on West Virginia's press working, they get 28 percent of their offense off of turnovers...I think this could be a highlight film Kentucky is going to break their press for dunks." Alaa also gave his pick for a team who could match-up well against Kentucky and Alaa pointed to the winner of the Notre Dame vs Wichita State game.
