According to police, the Dollar General Store in the Aberdeen Shopping Plaza was robbed around 2:37 p.m. on Thursday.

The suspect entered the store and demanded money from an employee at a register, pointing a silver handgun at the employee.

When the employee was unable to open the register, the suspect fled.
