AAA: Md. Drivers Paying $3.53 Per Gallon
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Motorists in Maryland are paying 4 cents less at the pump when compared with a week ago.
AAA Mid-Atlantic said Friday in a weekly report that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Maryland was $3.53, down from $3.57 a week ago.
The price of gas in the state is currently a penny above the national average of $3.52.
The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in cities around the state includes $3.50 in Baltimore, $3.64 in Cumberland, $3.55 in Hagerstown and $3.43 in Salisbury.
Motorists in the region are paying 13 cents less than at this time last year when the average price of a gallon of gas was $3.66 per gallon.
