BROOKLYN, Md. (AP/WJZ) --Police are looking for three suspects behind an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven in Anne Arundel County.

Around 2 a.m. Sunday, police say three men dressed in dark clothing, hoods and masks entered the store on 2616 Annapolis Road in Severn.

Police say one suspect was armed with a shotgun, a second suspect was armed with a black handgun, and a third suspect may have had a handgun as well.

The store employee escaped out of the back of the building unharmed.

Unable to get into the register, the suspects took cigars, food items and a tip jar.

Police in Anne Arundel County are also looking for a man who shot a 7-Eleven store clerk with a BB gun during an attempted robbery.

Police say it happened around 5 a.m. Sunday at the 7-Eleven at 4000-Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn.

The clerk told police the suspect demanded money before shooting him and then fleeing on foot. The clerk is recovering from non-life threatening injuries at a hospital and is in stable condition. No money was taken.

Police says the suspect had a goatee and was wearing a dark-colored jacket with a gray hood, blue pants and brown boots.  (Picture at the top of this story)
