3 Killed In I-95 Crash In Elkridge, Maryland Thursday Afternoon
ELKRIDGE, Md. (WJZ) -- Three people were killed after a single-vehicle crash along northbound I-95 in Elkridge on Thursday afternoon, according to Maryland State Police.
Maryland State Police got a 911 call just before 3:30 p.m. for a car that had overturned in the middle of the interstate. Three men, all from the Laurel-area, were pronounced dead on the scene.
Witnesses said the car eventually flipped over and landed in the woods.

"We do know from witnesses and a preliminary investigation that the car had begun driving erratically, possibly speeding in the left two lanes of I-95," Ron Snyder, of the Maryland State Police, said.
First responders found that all three people inside the car died on impact.
Maryland State Police have identified the driver as 44-year-old Robert Nagel, and the two passengers; 33-year-old Michael Labonte and 43-year-old Eric Severin, all from Laurel.
All of the lanes have since reopened, although the crash backed up traffic for miles.
"Something told me to look to the left and I saw police, the ambulance and fire department," Latina Coleman, a witness, said.
No other cars were impacted. Maryland State Police said they're still trying to determine what ultimately caused the crash.
People who were driving along I-95 and saw the accident scene and the police response said it was a difficult and scary sight to see.
"Well, I drive an SUV," Coleman said. "And I'm a mother, I'm somebody's sister, somebody's daughter and I'm so concerned for the family."
The cause of this crash remains unknown. The investigation is still ongoing.
