3 Injured By Fire At Baltimore Apartment Building

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore fire department officials say three people were injured during a fire at an apartment building.

Officials say fire broke out in the building in the Irvington neighborhood of southwest Baltimore shortly before 10 a.m. Sunday. Firefighters saw heavy flames coming from the third floor when they arrived.

Three people were taken to hospitals. Fire department spokesman Samuel Johnson says their injuries were not life-threatening.

Johnson says 10 families were displaced by the blaze. The cause is under investigation.
