3 Charged In Shooting Of Man In Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- Salisbury Police have charged three people in connection with the shooting of a man at his home.

Officers say the three drove to the victim's home about 2 a.m. Sunday. Authorities say the victim was shot once in the torso outside his home, and the three suspects drove off.

The victim is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital, police said in a news release.

The suspects were arrested. Twenty-two-year-old Ashley Cannon of Laurel, Delaware, 22-year-old Douglas Schoolfield of Salisbury, Maryland, and 20-year-old Luquan Brittingham of Pocomoke City, Maryland, are each charged with attempted murder and other offenses.
