25th Anniversary Flashback Moments: Executive VP John Angelos

In honor of the 25th anniversary of Oriole Park at Camden Yards, we will be showcasing one special moment each week this season.

Here's another flashback moment from the people and players that know the Yard the best.

John Angelos is the Executive Vice President of the Baltimore Orioles. He has held this position since April 1999, leading the club's front office and overseeing day-to-day business operations. He also serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN), overseeing the network's business operations.

Angelos said one of his favorite memories over the last 25 years was having American Major League Baseball center fielder Joe DiMaggio at the park.  Angelos recalled, "What we thought was going to be one evening or a little bit of time that he would spend with Cal and with the fans, he ended up doing more and more and more because he enjoyed being at Camden Yards and being part of Cal's accomplishment...and actually at the last second deciding that he would go out on the field and be part of congratulating Cal...you don't ever forget meeting someone like Joe Dimaggio."
