Police Arrest Woman In Fatal West Baltimore Stabbing

BALTIMORE (WJZ) --Baltimore police have arrested a woman in connection with a fatal stabbing in West Baltimore Saturday.

Twenty two-year-old Michelle Johnson was arrested and charged in the stabbing of two women, one fatally during a fight in the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue.

Police have also identified the victim who died as 36-year-old Carla Harrison, of the 3900 block of Edmondson Avenue.

Original Post, April 4: Two women are stabbed--one fatally--during a fight in West Baltimore.

It happened early Saturday in the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue.

Police believe the victims were involved in an altercation with other individuals when they were stabbed.

A 36-year-old woman taken to the hospital with stab wounds to the stomach. She later died from her injuries.

A 30-year-old woman was also stabbed in the leg. Her injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

Police say several persons of interest were taken into custody at the scene for questioning.
