2 Charged With Robbing Cab Driver In Ocean City
OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- Ocean City police have arrested two men after a cab driver was assaulted and robbed.
It happened about 2:45 a.m. Monday near 126th Street and Coastal Highway. Officers say two men who refused to pay the fare assaulted the driver and stole $60 and the keys to the taxi.
Police say officers saw two men chasing the driver on Coastal Highway. One man had a softball-sized rock in his hand.
Twenty-six-year-old Justin Washington and 24-year-old Troy Thomas, both of Baltimore, were arrested and charged with assault, theft and robbery.
