2 Charged In Connection With Odenton Burglary, Homicide Investigation

ODENTON, Md. (WJZ) -- An 18-year-old man was arrested for his involvement in a series of burglaries that happened last week in Odenton.

According to police, a 16-year-old who lives in the 700 block of Sunny Chapel Road, in Odenton, was hosting a party on July 10 which ended around 1:00 a.m. Sometime after 3:00 a.m. the home was burglarized multiple times, police said.

Investigators were called to the scene just before 4:00 a.m. when 19-year-old Jesse Brousseau was found dead in the area of Winer Rd. and Bruce Ave., just a short distance from the burglarize home. Police say Brousseau had obvious signs of trauma to his body.

A preliminary investigation has revealed that 18-year-old Donovan Brown was involved in the earlier burglary attempts, but was not present during the final altercation which led to the victim's death.

Brown is charged with multiple counts of theft, and burglary.

19-year-old Allen Johnson, of Crofton was also injured during the incident. Police say he was also later identified as a suspect involved in the burglary. Jonson is charged with first degree burglary, theft and assault.

The suspect(s) who may be involved in Brousseau have not been identified at this time.
