2 Baltimore Men Behind Bars After Cocaine Crackdown In St. Mary's County

GREENBELT, Md. (WJZ)-- Two Baltimore men are among four behind bars after a cocaine crackdown in St. Mary's County.

Court documents reveal that between February 2012 and April 2013, 55-year-old Jeffrey Kirk Berry, "Kojack," of Lexington Park, Md. conspired with 39-year-old Damon Estep, 38-year-old Alrahman Allen,  38-year-old Jamar Holt and others to distribute cocaine and crack in South St. Mary's County.

A search of Berry's home on April 15, 2013, recovered a 9 mm rifle, two 9mm handguns, a .40 caliber handgun, and a .25 caliber handgun, as well as ammunition for the guns.

Due to his previous felony convictions, Berry was prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition.  Berry admits that over the course of the conspiracy he was responsible for the distribution of between five and 15 kilograms of cocaine, and between 280 and 840 grams of crack.

On Monday, Berry was sentenced to 15 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute powder and crack cocaine; and for being a felon in possession of firearms.

The judge sentenced Holt--also known as "Reds,"  "Jamal Holt" and "Rex"--of Baltimore, to 20 years in prison.

Estep, "Country," of California, Md. was sentenced to 188 months in prison.

Allen,  known as "Rock" and "Rahman Allen," of Baltimore, previously pleaded guilty to his participation in the conspiracy and awaits sentencing.
