2 Arrested For Drugs After Md. Traffic Stop

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police says two people have been arrested after a trooper found 100 grams of marijuana in a car during a traffic stop in Washington County.

The Maryland State Police says that on Wednesday at about 1:30 a.m. a trooper from the Hagerstown barrack stopped a green 1999 Honda Accord that was speeding on Interstate 70 near Route 66.

Maryland State Police says the trooper smelled marijuana and searched the vehicle, leading to the discovery of drugs. Maryland State Police identified the occupants of the vehicle as 21-year-old Lowell T. Tolliver Jr. of the District of Columbia and 21-year-old Ernest L. Mack of Cumberland.

An online court record system did not list attorneys for either of the men.
