Woman Charged with Murder In Stabbing Of 19-Year-Old

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A woman is facing murder charges after police stay she stabbed a man to death in Baltimore.

Police were called to a residence in the 700 block of W. Lafayette Ave. around 2:30 a.m. where they found 19-year-old Christopher Carter suffering from at least one stab wound to his chest.

Carter was transported to the hospital where he later died.

Police believe there was a verbal dispute with 20-year-old Elera Osaro  and the victim over money. The dispute then turned physical which resulted in the stabbing of Carter.

Osaro is charged with first degree murder and various assault charges.

She is currently being held at the Central Booking and Intake Facility.
