1 Killed After Tree Falls On Moving Vehicle In St. Mary's County As Tropical Storm Isaias Blew Through Maryland
MECHANICSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- A person is dead after a tree fell onto a moving vehicle in St. Mary's County Tuesday morning as Tropical Storm Isaias blew through Maryland.
The accident happened along Three Notch Road near Charlotte Hall School Road in Mechanicsville around 9:33 a.m. The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office said the driver was heading south when a tree on the shoulder collapsed, trapping the driver inside.

The sheriff's office identified the woman killed as 31-year-old Tiaesa Sade Lake of Suitland. Lake was driving a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis when she was killed.
Lake was driving southbound on Three Notch Road when a large tree fell onto her car. She was pronounced dead on scene.
At this time, alcohol, drug impairment and speed do not appear to be factors in the collision.
