1 Dead After Solo Car Crash In Howard County

ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, Md. (AP) -- Police say a man is dead after a solo car crash in Howard County.

Howard County Police say the driver of a white Toyota was traveling on the entrance road to Route 32 westbound from Route 1 when his car left the roadway and struck a tree.

Police say the 42-year-old driver, Ronald Lavalle Lucas of Parkville, was the only occupant of the vehicle and that he was pronounced dead at Howard County General Hospital.

Police say a preliminary investigation has revealed that speed was the primary factor in the crash.
