1 Dead After Police-Involved Shooting In Baltimore County

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- There was a deadly police-involved shooting in Baltimore County.

This is the 4000 block of Bay Drive in Bowley's Quarters. Detectives are on the scene investigating the shooting.

Police were called for an attempted suicide. When police arrived, an adult man came at them with several knives.

They attempted to use a taser, which did not stop the suspect.

One officer fired, killing the man.

Police have identified the man as 52-year-old Jeffrey Gene Evans.

The investigation is ongoing.
