ALDS Game 1 Recap: Baltimore Orioles lose to the Texas Rangers 3-2

The Orioles didn't score in the ninth inning and lost 3-to-2 to the Rangers. Gunnar Henderson led off the ninth inning with a single but was thrown out after trying to steal a base. Aaron Hicks struck out and Adam Frazier grounded out to end the game.

The Orioles are back in the bullpen following another scoreless inning. The team is headed to the bottom of the ninth inning. They need a comeback and continue to trail Texas 3-to-2.

The Orioles got the first two runners on base in the eighth inning, but Anthony Santander grounded into a double play and Ryan Mountcastle struck out. The Orioles still trail 3-to-2. They are down to their final three outs.

The Orioles bullpen holds Texas scoreless in the eighth inning. The Texas Rangers still lead 3-t-2. The Orioles are coming up to bat in the eighth inning.

The Orioles failed to score in the seventh inning. Aaron Hicks walked to open the inning, but Adam Frazier popped up. Meanwhile, Cedric Mullins and Ryan O'Hearn both Sturck out. The score remains 3-to-2 with Texas leading.

Texas didn't score in the top of the seventh inning. Austin Hays made a spectacular catch to retire Jonah Heim for the final out.  The Orioles still trial 3-to-2 going into the bottom of the seventh inning.

The Orioles cut into the Rangers' lead with Anthony Santander solo home run in the sixth inning. Texas changed pitchers. The Orioles are still trailing 3-to-2 in the sixth inning.

The Texas Rangers added to their lead in the sixth inning. Josh Jung had a solo home run off Jacob Webb to make it 3-to-1. The Orioles are batting in the sixth inning.

The Orioles failed to score in the fifth inning. Austin Hays grounded into a double play after Ramon Urias got an infield single. Texas is still leading 2-to-1 after five innings.

Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish leaves after 4 2/3rds inning. He gave up 2 runs and struck out 9. Danny Coulombe is in for the Orioles.

 Rangers score first. Evan Carter with an RBI double in the 4th inning, followed by an RBI single by Jonah Heim. Orioles trail the Rangers 2-0. Rangers still hitting in the 4th inning.
