An Arlington police officer shot and killed a 56-year-old man who police say approached the officer with a large knife during a mental health call.
Neither the officer nor the suspect were identified by Dallas Police Sunday morning.
Arlington police said all three shooting victims were taken to local hospitals and are expected to survive.
Police found a pickup truck that had gone off the road and a man dead outside the vehicle.
Footage captured from a helicopter shows the suspect sedan speeding along a highway and in residential areas, dodging traffic and, at one point, driving in the wrong lane.

One of the victims had a pocket knife, which he used to defend himself, police said, stabbing two of the suspects.
One person died at the hospital after being ejected from a car.
Detectives said they learned Derreck Dean, 36, had first responded to a call for service at the woman's home on April 11, but he allegedly returned to her home three separate times.
28-year-old Xavier Jones is accused of killing 32-year-old Karri Kartik Viswanath in a shooting that followed an apparent fight.
Officers were called to the 1200 block of California Lane around 4:29 a.m after a reported shooting.
Officials said, at about 4 a.m., an officer who was traveling westbound along I-30 near the Arlington and Grand Prairie line spotted a disabled vehicle in the main lanes.
The case gained attention last year after Arlington PD said UT-Arlington criminology students helped ID the suspect.
Police said the suspect admitted to shooting his grandmother inside her apartment and then dragging her body to the patio.
