Your purse?! Okay, so it's not going anywhere. You just can't find it when it's ringing or buzzing. That's annoying. Luckily, if you take the time, you will eventually find it and contact the missed call.
Chance of recovery: 95 to 100 percent
9. Restaurants and bars
Restaurants and bars are two of the most common places where cell phones are lost, left behind or accidentally switched with someone else's. But since there are bus boys, servers and other patrons around, the chance of recovery is not a hopeless cause.
Chance of recovery: 80 to 95 percent
8. Roof of your car
Believe it or not, it happens. Since it's common for drivers to use Bluetooth headsets, sometimes they leave their mobile devices on top of the car as they help themselves in. Unfortunately, recovering your cell phone after you've left it on the roof of your car can be tough. Plus, if you're on the road, you might be able to find your device, but it will probably be broken.

7. Changing room
Department store changing rooms are also a breeding ground for lost cell phones. When you're trying on clothes, you tend to put your phone down or it might even slip out of your pants pocket as you change in and out of garments.

Oh yes, we're all paranoid about going through airport security. You should've just left it at home because once that phone touches water, whether it's recovered or not, it might not even work again.
