Remains of missing Minn. woman found

Human remains found in Stearns County on Oct. 26, 2013 have been confirmed to be those of Mandy Matula, a 24-year-old Minnesota woman who had been missing since May 1, 2013, reports CBS Minnesota. Matula's father said police told him the autopsy showed his daughter died of a single gunshot wound to the head, according to the station. Matula's ex-boyfriend, 24-year-old David Roe, who was wanted for questioning in the disappearance, shot himself in the head May 2, 2013 outside a Minnesota police station prior to being questioned. He died May 3, 2013. Police are still looking into the events leading up to Matula's death.
