Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund/Ann Dean Robinson

Vietnam veteran Tom Brickman was an Army private in Vietnam who has spent most of the last 44 years trying to forget about the war. However, after seeing a traveling exhibition of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, he and his daughter were compelled to collect pictures of each of the 853 Iowans who died during the war. The following pages show the results of a small portion of their effort. This photo is of Michael Keith Lewis of Lake City, Iowa, who was born March 20, 1946, and died on June 13, 1969. He served in the Army.

This photos is of Daniel Wayne Thomas of Danbury, Iowa. He was born Sept. 9, 1946, and died July 6, 1971. He was in the Air Force.

This photo is of Donald Wayne Thompson, an Army soldier from Montezuma, Iowa. He was born Oct. 2, 1945, and died Dec. 2, 1967.

Donald Gary Lammers from Forest City, Iowa was born on March 29, 1944. The Marine died on Aug. 24, 1968.

Donald Ralph Ledlie is from Des Moines, Iowa. He was born Dec. 8, 1947, and died on April 30, 1970. He fought in the Army.

David Glen Lovitt of Bedford, Iowa, was born on Dec. 3, 1947, and died on March 6, 1969. He was in the Army.

Randall Lawrence Brockway of Burlington, Iowa, was born Dec. 31, 1944, and died Feb. 23, 1969. He was in the Army.
