Longest Nonstop Concert

Hundreds of Japanese professional and amateur musicians, including music teacher Kuniko Teramura, seated, set a new world record for a non-stop concert, performing about 2,000 tunes consecutively over 182 hours, March 31, 2007. An official of Guinness World Records who was present at the concert that began at 8 p.m. on March 23, approved the new record. Canada set the previous longest concert at 181 hours in 2001.

Most Simultaneous Snow Angels

Thousands of people (8,962 to be exact) flap their arms and legs in unison, creating angel imprints, during a world record attempt for the most snow angels, in Bismarck, N.D., Feb. 17, 2007. Guinness World Records confirmed on March 28, 2007, that the state now holds the world record for the most snow angels made simultaneously in one place.

Record Runner

World's Tallest

Highest and Fastest Ever Concert

Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay performs Sony Ericsson's Gig in the Sky on board a private jet at an altitude of 35,000 feet on Feb. 27, 2007, between Munich, Germany and Athens, Greece. The mid-air gig broke the Guinness World Record for the "Highest and Fastest Ever Concert."

Most Needles

Chinese man Wei Shengchu inserts needles into his forehead during a self-acupuncture performance on Jan. 9, 2007, in Chongqing Municipality, China. Wei inserted 1,200 needles into his head skin during the show. According to local media, the 60-year-old acupuncturist is a cosmetic doctor from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, who has the Guinness World Record for self-acupuncturing at 1,790 needles in his face.

World's Smallest Horse

Thumbelina, billed as the Worlds Smallest Horse by the Guinness World Records, enters the show ring with owner Michael Goessling at the Big Apple Circus where she made a brief appearance Nov. 30, 2006, in New York. Born at a farm for miniature horses, Thumbelina, who weighs just 58 pounds and stands at 17.5 inches tall, is officially described as a dwarf horse.

Chocolate Tower
