Chicago graffiti: Eyesores become works of art
A group of Chicago graffiti artists, including the artist known as Werm, has taken some real eyesores in the city and turned them in to works of art. Before the cops would chase them, now they have been commissioned by local businesses to put their "tag" on things.
They still wear masks in photos because of their fear of being tracked down by cops and other crews: (left to right) Ascend (crew: DC5/ATTStreet), Ogel (crew: TCKStreet), Nerd (crew: xmen/POR), C3PO (crew: MUL/H2o).
Here are some examples of their street and commissioned work.
