British flower show in full bloom
The Chelsea Flower Show, run by the Royal Horticultural Society, celebrates its 100th birthday this year.
The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has lifted a ban on gnomes for this year only and they will be auctioned off as part of the "Chelsea Centenary Appeal" to raise funds for an RHS Campaign for School Gardening.
The Orchid, which was rescued from extinction by scientists and is protected by wildlife laws, is accompanied by its own security.
