Björk retrospective
" Björk" - The multi-faceted mid-career retrospective of the Icelandic artist at New York City's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) opens March 8 and runs through June 7, 2015.
The exhibition, drawing from the artist's 20-year career, includes her daring music, videos, objects, costumes and instruments.
Photo: The exhibition begins chronologically with the release of Bjork's first mature solo album, "Debut" in 1993 and continues to her most recent work in 2015 including a new video and music installation commissioned especially for the museum, "Black Lake".

"Post" was Björk's second album. Over the decades Björk pursued a collaborative practice to visualize and express her music and lyrics.

The show, put together by curator Klaus Biesenbach is a multi-level display and works as a living diary for the artist.
Björk's well known fashion statements are also on display, including the classic Swan Dress she wore to the Oscars.

"Volta" was the seventh album released by Björk. In a theater at MoMA one can watch the artist's entire music video collection in chronological order.
Björk - Biophilia
Björk, "Biophilia", 2011. In creating the album cover, Inez + Vinoodh also needed to create the "Biophilia" character, like they did for other Björk albums. The persona would be used by Björk on tour and everything related to the album.
In the lobby of the museum four musical instruments from "Biophilia", including a gravity harp, are on view, programmed to play music and sounds created by Björk.

The song was released as part of Björk's "Biophilia" album. The music video was projected for one month in Times Square in 2013.
