8 funny Facebook groups you should join
We suppose tracksuits could be a little sinister. The "Ominous Tracksuits" Facebook group believes "tracksuits mean danger. They say 'I'm ready to flee' as well as 'I'm ready to fight.'" Currently, 76 members would have to agree with this ridiculous (yet funny) notion.
Peter Griffin, is that you?
Perhaps you know someone who looks like Peter Griffin of "Family Guy?" If you do, you should be a member of "I know someone that looks like Peter Griffin." The Facebook group, which currently has 380 members, is under the "just for fun - totally random" category and offers users a forum to share Peter Griffin doppelgangers. Members have responded, "my science teacher!" and "my dad looks like Peter Griffin."
When cats look like Hitler...
This Facebook group, which currently has 8,516 members, features "Hitler cats" - as in cats that have a dark mark under their noses and above their mouths that make them resemble Adolf Hilter (kind of). But the group is not poking fun at these cute "kitlers" with mustaches. It is the "Appreciation Centre for Cats that look like Hitler" after all.
Crunchy-leaf stepping is fun
We can all relate to the Facebook page "I Will Go Slightly Out of My Way To Step On A Crunchy-Looking Leaf." Who doesn't like to do that?! Although the page hasn't been active since September, 2.3 million users liked it. It probably gets more activity during crunchy-leaf season.
The bromance club
We fully support the "Petition to make Bromance a Relationship Status on Facebook" - and so do 68,180 members. It's a place where, yes, people can petition to make "bromance" a relationship status on the social network, as well as where members can post awesome pictures of men in warm embraces, exhibiting countless acts of bromance.
How do you spell that?
The very active "People Who Always Have To Spell Their Names For Other People" receives a handful of comments daily from Facebook users complaining about their hard-to-pronounce or -spell names. Some of us can relate (ahem, Ysolt Usigan). Currently, there are 517,719 members in the group and growing.
David Hasselhoff, be my dad!
When we discovered Facebook group "I wish (and pray) that David Hasselhoff was my dad!" a couple of questions came to mind: Are these people making fun of "The Hoff"? Or, are they for real? The "Knight Rider" is rich and all, so we're not surprised. Although the group hasn't been that active in recent months, 41 members still want David Hasselhoff to be their dad.
