Ying Yang Twins Get 'Dangerous'

Atlanta-based rappers the Ying Yang Twins have teamed up with Wyclef Jean on their upcoming fifth album. The first release from the set is "Dangerous," which was co-produced by Jean, the duo's longtime producer Michael "Mr. Collipark" Crooms and Jerry "Wonda" Duplessis.

The new album, "2 Live Crew," is slated for release at the end of November. The Ying Yang Twins, also known as D-Roc and Kaine, see the title as an homage to 1980s rap pioneers 2 Live Crew.

"We're gonna take 'em back (to) 'As Nasty As They Wanna Be' " D-Roc told Billboard, referring to 2 Live Crew's controversial 1989 album.

The new album is the follow-up to the Twins' 2005 platinum album "United States of Atlanta (U.S.A.)," which entered the Billboard 200 albums chart at No. 2 in its first week of release. The album contained the Grammy-nominated single "Wait (The Whisper Song)."

Collipark hopes that "2 Live Crew" will broaden the Ying Yang Twins' audience.

"Working with the Wyclef and Jerry Wonder has pushed Ying Yang Twins and our sound to whole another level," Collipark said in a statement.
