NEW YORK (CBS) Country singer Wynonna Judd recently lost 60 pounds and has found a new lease on life since her painful 2007 divorce.

"I went to hell and back," Wynonna said on "The Oprah Winfrey" Show Tuesday.  "I started walking in the wilderness screaming at God, 'Why?' I call it my meditative walk."

The Grammy winner is appreciative of herself now, after embracing her new body: "Now, I don't look in the mirror and go, 'You suck.' The other day a guy half my age asked me out and I said, 'I admire your courage.' I'm feeling so alive that I have to take naps. Let's just put it this way: I'm on fire. From head to toe."

Judd says walking helped her shed the excess weight. In 2007, Wynonna's ex-husband D. R. Roach, 49 was arrested and indicted on three counts of aggravated sexual assault and battery against a minor under the age of 13.

"He was out of the house within the hour," recounts Wynonna, 46. While recovering from her husband's betrayal (and humiliating criminal activity) was difficult, Judd says her life is now better than ever.

"I feel like I finally got it," says Judd, whose mom is country singer Naomi Judd and sister is actress Ashley Judd.

Has her recent weight loss also helped reignite her love life?

"Hell, yeah," says Wynonna, who declined to say whether she's dating anyone at the moment. "I'm not going to say any more about it. Let's just say I have a pep in my step."
