Truck carrying $120K in Hershey's chocolate stolen
DELAND, Fla. – The search is on for a truck stolen in Volusia county that was carrying $120,000 worth of Hershey's chocolate.
A sheriff's office incident report says the truck's driver, Kenneth Szorosy, told the responding on Sunday that he had parked it for the night at a truck center in DeLand. Szorsy said the truck was filled with an estimated $120,000 in a variety of Hershey's chocolate. He told the deputy he did not know who may have stolen the truck.
The report says the deputy canvased the area but didn't find the truck. The sheriff's office said Tuesday the investigation continued.
The truck belongs to Sunstate Carriers, a refrigerated truckload carrier based in Tavares.
