The new "Black Mirror" trailer is as disturbing as you'd expect
Get ready for some more mind-bending tales of modern unease, because “Black Mirror” is back -- almost.
The third season of Netflix’s unnerving anthology series -- hailed as “a ‘Twilight Zone’ for the digital age” by the New Yorker -- is due later this month, and the trailer for the new season, released Friday, offers a tantalizing taste of what’s to come.
The six new stand-alone episodes feature an impressive cast, including Bryce Dallas Howard, Benedict Wong, Mackenzie Davis, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jerome Flynn and Kelly MacDonald, with new writers on board including Rashida Jones and Dan Trachtenberg.
“In this world, we’re all so caught up in our own heads, it’s easy to lose sight of what’s real,” Howard’s plucky, pink-wearing character says as the trailer begins.
The six-part third season of “Black Mirror” debuts on Netflix October 21, 2016.
