Steve King Warns Of 'totalitarian Dicatorship'

Any story from Iowa that begins with Republican Rep. Steve King and the phrase "warming up a crowd" has the potential to get interesting mighty quick. This story from the Iowa Independent doesn't disappoint.

King told the crowd that "socialist" was too soft a word for the policies pushed by Barack Obama. “When you take a lurch to the left you end up in a totalitarian dictatorship,” King said. “There is no freedom to the left. It’s always to our side of the aisle.”

He followed up, according to the Sioux City Journal, by noting that “Obama is ACORN…When I see Obama, I see ACORN branded on his forehead.”
