"Splash": Celebrities named for diving competition show
Get ready to watch stars dive, or belly flop, into a pool.
ABC has announced the cast for its upcoming reality show, "Splash," which will find celebrities battling against one another in high-diving competitions.
Sounds pretty dangerous. Good thing diving veteran Greg Louganis will give each celebrity weeks of training.
The series, set to debut March 19 at 8 p.m. ET, will find 10 celebrities competing in platform and springboard dives, featuring synchronized routines, flips, twists and spins.
Contestants include comedian Louie Anderson; actress Drake Bell "Drake & Josh"; Chelsea Handler's sidekick Chuy Bravo; former "Baywatch" star Nicole Eggert; actress Keshia Knight Pulliam, who portrayed Rudy on "The Cosby Show"; Detroit Lions player Ndamukong Suh; Former Miss Alabama and TV host Katherine Webb; and reality TV star Kendra Wilkinson of "Girls Next Door."
Two additional contestants will be named soon.
Olympic U.S. Gold medalist David Boudia and USA Dive Team director Steve Foley will be on hand as judges.
