Shakira expecting second child with Gerard Pique

Shakira is going to be a mom for the second time.

The Colombian pop star confirmed the baby news to the Spanish edition of Cosmopolitan. She was quoted in the magazine as saying, "Yes, the truth is that yes, I'm pregnant."

Speculation has grown in recent weeks over whether "The Voice" coach was with baby.

Shakira and her boyfriend, Barcelona soccer player Gerard Pique, welcomed their first child -- a son named Milan -- in January 2013.

Earlier this year, CBS News asked the singer if she thinks they'll ever get married.

"If I have to marry because someone said, 'Shakira, this is the only way you can be in a relationship,' I would marry him in a second. He's the one," she said.

Shakira, 37, and Pique, 27, started dating in 2010 after meeting on the set of Shakira's music video for "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)," the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

In March, Shakira released a self-titled album featuring appearances by Rihanna and Blake Shelton.
