Roseanne Barr goes to hospital after breaking kneecap, jokingly blames Hillary Clinton
Roseanne Barr is in the hospital after she fell and broke her kneecap.
The comedian wrote on Twitter on Thursday that she slipped in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park and broke her kneecap in three places. She posted a graphic photo of her swollen knee.
Barr, a Trump supporter, joked that perhaps Hillary Clinton was responsible for her injury. She tweeted, “Fell broke kneecap! Did Hillary drone me? Lol.”
She said that paramedics helped take her to the hospital from the park and added that she will be on crutches for three months.
Her TV daughter and former co-star Sara Gilbert wished her well on “The Talk,” saying, “Poor Roseanne, that seems so painful and we hope you get better fast.”
She did add, however that Barr might enjoy the bed rest because she loves social media so much. “She’s so political and she’s on Twitter all the time and I feel she’s going to be in heaven sending out all these messages,” she said.
