Peter Frampton files for divorce
(CBS) Peter Frampton has filed for divorce from wife Christina Elfers-Frampton after 15 years of marriage.
The "Baby, I Love Your Way" singer cites irreconcilable differences in divorce papers filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, People magazine reports.
The 61-year-old is asking that the couple share custody of their daughter, according to TMZ, but wants his estranged wife to have primary physical custody.
The couple married in 1996 and split on New Year's Eve 2010. This was Frampton's third marriage.
