Paula Abdul to judge "Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars"
Paula Abdul will soon return to a familiar place -- the judge's seat.
The former "American Idol" and "X Factor" judge will sit on the "Dancing With the Stars" panel on Oct. 15 to lend a hand during the performance show.
The guest stint makes sense for Abdul, a dancer and choreographer who got her start as a Los Angeles Lakers cheerleader.
"Dance has always been my first love and 'Dancing With the Stars' epitomizes what dance can do to the human spirit. I've been sneaking into the show for years, and now I get to be a guest judge," Abdul said Monday in a taped segment that aired on "Dancing With the Stars." "It's a marriage made in dancing heaven."
She'll join Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli on the panel, which doesn't often feature guest judges.
