Spectacular football catch is one for the ages
In the second quarter of a game the N.Y. Giants would go on to lose to the Dallas Cowboys, 31 - 28, Giants' star rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. made a touchdown catch so incredible, it's sure to live on in fans' minds long after memories of the game itself fade. Truly a remarkable reception:
CBSSports.com NFL Writer Josh Katzowitz calls it "one of the greatest catches -- maybe, ever."
Associated Press Pro Football Writer Barry Wilner says, "Beckham's right-handed stab of Manning's 43-yard rainbow pass could be the catch of the year. The rookie, who regularly practices such receptions, outreached veteran cornerback Brandon Carr at the goal line and tumbled backward into the end zone."
Seattle Seahawks defensive star Richard Sherman tweeted, "My Goodness.... That young man is bad!!!!"
And basketball great LeBron James tweeted, "Man I just witnessed the greatest catch ever possibly by Odell Beckham Jr! WOW!!!!"
