Neola Robinson, Texas woman, charged after body of missing husband found buried in front yard, police say
(AP) PELICAN BAY, Texas - A 62-year-old North Texas widow is behind bars charged with murder after her long-missing husband was found buried in the front yard of their rural home.
Neola Robinson is in Tarrant County Jail with bond set at $150,000, charged in the 2010 death of husband Ervin Robinson.
Texas Rangers say they arrested Robinson Saturday and exhumed her husband's remains Tuesday from the yard of their mobile home in Pelican Bay, a lakefront community on Eagle Mountain Lake about 20 miles northwest of Fort Worth.
Rangers spokesman Lonny Haschel says Rangers had been investigating since Robinson went missing in late May 2010. Texas Rangers say they recently got a tip prompting them to search the couple's property.
Online jail records listed no attorney for the widow.
