The 33-year-old married mother of two is alleged by police to have had sex with the boy 100 times, according to CNN.
Only a day after being charged with 21 counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct in Saginaw County, Rousseau was slapped with eight additional counts in nearby Midland County.
Prosecutors say the former English teacher's relationship with the student went on from May 2009 through February of this year.
According to CBS affiliate WNEM, the Midland County prosecutor spoke of multiple incidents involving other students, spanning back to 2002. Rousseau's attorney told the judge these allegations were false.
Rousseau turned herself in to Midland authorities Tuesday to face the new charges.
She was placed on administrative leave from the school in February after an incident that involved text messages. She resigned from the district last week after working there for nine years.
The Midland County judge set an $80,000 bond, due to Rousseau's lack of criminal history; she had previously posted a $250,000 bond for the Saginaw County charges.
