JERSEY CITY, N.J. (CBS/WCBS/AP) The man who drove a missing New Jersey prostitute on the day she disappeared says she was "delirious" and "irrational" when she called 911 from a client's house.

Authorities are trying to determine whether Shannon Gilbert is one of four women whose bodies were found dumped on a deserted Long Island beach highway.

DNA tests and dental records are being used to determine the identities of the bodies.

Authorities suspect they may be dealing with a serial killer.

The driver, who didn't want his name used, told The Jersey City Journal he dropped the 24-year-old off in Oak Beach, N.Y., at about 2 a.m. on May 1, then waited outside for her.

He said Gilbert's client phoned him three hours later and said Gilbert was refusing to leave. The man said he found Gilbert on the phone telling a 911 operator that a man was after her.

The driver told the newspaper he tried to get Gilbert to leave but she said, "You guys are trying to kill me."

He said Gilbert eventually ran from the house.
