Kaboni Saavage, Philadelphia drug lord, found guilty of 12 murders

(CBS) PHILADELPHIA - A federal jury has found Philadelphia drug trafficker Kaboni Savage guilty of 12 murders dating back to 1998, according to CBS Philly.

According to the station, 6 of the 12 victims were were members of a North Philadelphia family. Prosecutors said that as revenge against a former gang member who leaked information to the FBI, Savage firebombed a home with four kids and two adults inside, killing them all.

Assistant U.S. Attorney David Troyer told CBS Philly that in the penalty phase next week, Savage could get the death penalty.

Savage's sister, Kidada, was found guilty in 6 murders.

Two other men involved in the case, Steven Northington and Robert Merritt, were convicted of conspiracy in a violent drug-trafficking ring.
