Julianne Siller, Pa. teen, stabbed to death by 16-year-old boyfriend in woods, police say
(CBS) SKIPPACK TWP., Pa. - Tristan Stahley, a 16-year-old Pennsylvania boy, was arrested Saturday night after allegedly stabbing his 17-year-old girlfriend to death in a park, CBS Philly reports.
Authorities say Stahley and his girlfriend, Julianne Siller, were overheard arguing at Stahley's residence in Skippack Township, Pa., before leaving a short time later for nearby Palmer Park, according to the station.
Authorities say the couple continued arguing there until Stahley stabbed Siller in the throat. He reportedly continued stabbing her and then dragged her body off a walking trail into a densely wooded area.
According to the station, State Police were called to the Stahley's home at around 10 p.m. Saturday over reports of an altercation between the teen and his father. The 16-year-old was taken into custody and investigators reportedly found the victim's body at the park a short time later.
Friends of Siller said they tried to warn her about her boyfriend and his troubles.
"We always told her to keep your distance and break it off," Rhett McDonald, one of the victim's friends, told CBS Philly.
Siller was a senior at Spring Ford High School and was set to attend Penn State Altoona in the fall.
Stahley is charged as an adult with first-degree murder and is being held at Montgomery County Prison with no bail, the station reports.
