Judges mum on 16 Miss Universe finalists
Sixteen finalists were chosen this weekend from among the 89 beauty queens competing in the 2012 Miss Universe Pageant in Las Vegas.
Who are they? That remains a secret until the pageant begins Wednesday night. It is being broadcast live on NBC and Telemundo.
Andy Cohen and Giuliana Rancic will host the show. Celebrity judges, led by pageant owner Donald Trump, are "The Voice" mentor Cee Lo Green, San Francisco Giants MVP Pablo Sandoval, TV host Nigel Barker, actor singer Diego Boneta; reality TV star Scott Disick; Bravo stylist Brad Goreski, Iron Chef Morimoto, 2010 Miss Universe Ximena Navarrete of Mexicio, Olympic volleyball champion Kerri Walsh Jennings and reality TV star Lisa Vanderpump.
Miss USA, Olivia Culpo of Rhode Island, is a front runner as are beauty queens from South Africa, Venezuela, and the Philippines. The current Miss Universe is Leila Lopes of Angola. Six of the last 10 titleholders have come from Latin countries, including back-ty back wins by the reigning Miss Venezuela.
