Jon Frankel
Jon Frankel is the national news correspondent for The Early Show, based in New York. He most recently served as a general assignment reporter for ABC News (1998-99), reporting for "World News Tonight," "Nightline," "Good Morning America," and as the substitute anchor for "World News Now."
Before that, Frankel was a correspondent for NBC's "Today" (1995-97). He was a sports anchor for WNBC-TV New York (1993-95), WPLG-TV Miami (1990-93) and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach (1988-90).
Frankel also was a producer and editor for NFL Films (1987-88). He began his broadcasting career as an associate producer for Bob Costas' nationally syndicated radio talk show, "Costas Coast to Coast" (1986-88).
Frankel was graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor of arts degree in broadcast journalism and political science. He currently lives in New York City.
