Jimmy Kimmel marries "Live!" staff writer Molly McNearney
Funnyman Jimmy Kimmel got hitched over the weekend.
The 45-year-old late night host married his longtime girlfriend and "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" co-head writer Molly McNearney, 35, on Saturday at a star-studded ceremony in Ojai, Calif. A rep for Kimmel confirmed the nuptials to People magazine.
Kimmel proposed to McNearney last August while vacationing in South Africa. They had been dating since 2009.
Some of the big names on the wedding guest list included Jennifer Aniston and fiance Justin Theroux, Ellen DeGeneres and partner Portia de Rossi, Howard Stern, Emily Blunt and husband John Krasinski, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.
Kimmel had previously officiated Damon's vow renewal to wife Luciana Barroso in April.
This is Kimmel's second marriage and a first for McNearney. Kimmel was married to Gina Kimmel from 1988 to 2003. They had two children together, a daughter Katie, who was born in 1991, and a son Kevin born in 1993.
It's been a big year so far for Kimmel. Besides tying the knot and being named one of Time's 100 Most Influential People in the World, Kimmel also saw his late night show get bumped up to the coveted 11:35 pm slot in January in order to compete with fellow late-night bigwigs Jay Leno and David Letterman.
