Ex-Mrs. America due in court on alleged Macy's theft
MINNEAPOLIS - Jennifer Kline, a former Mrs. America charged with swindling, is due in court on Monday, reports CBS Minnesota.
Kline, 50, reportedly bought some designer clothes in November before returning different, used clothing to Mall of America. She allegedly switched tags on the items prior to the return. This cost Macy's more than $5,000.
In 1989, Kline won the Mrs. America pageant, a beauty competition for married women.
This will be the second time Kline appears in court on the charge.
If convicted, she faces 10 years in prison and a $20,000.
