Man charged with biting off fingertip at Beyonce-Jay Z concert
A 25-year-old San Diego man has pleaded not guilty to biting off a man's fingertip during a Jay Z and Beyonce concert over the weekend at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.
Roberto Garnica entered pleas Tuesday to mayhem, battery and battery with serious bodily injury. His bail was set at $50,000, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Los Angeles County prosecutors say Garnica was at a stop on the power couple's "On the Run" tour on Saturday when he groped a woman and pushed her into some chairs, sparking a fight with her husband.
Authorities say Garnica punched the man and then completely bit off the tip of his left index finger.
He could face up to eight years in state prison if convicted.
