NEW YORK (CBS) Famed chef Gordon Ramsay is back with Season 8 of "Hells Kitchen," which got started Wednesday night.

Sixteen new chefs are competing this season for a chance to become head chef at a very famous Los Angeles restaurant.

Chef Ramsay is more than ready to bring these chefs some hell (verbal and otherwise), all while pushing them to be the best chef they can be.

The season premiere started off with each chef making their own signature dish, all trying to show off to the judges. After that they were shown extensively how to make real Japanese sushi by Chef Masaharu Morimoto.

Chef Gordon Ramsay always pushes his chefs in the making to their limits and this season is no exception. Ramsey is not a sensitive guy and is looking to make sure the competitors are ready for the head chef position in front of them.
